VenusTRIBES are a Jungian explorers fascinated by the Goddess movement and Gaia Theory, writing mystic, alternative music. The recording project was brought to life by Jose DeChamp, songwriter + author based in London, UK.

Album ‘Siddhartha’ (2011) was inspired by Hermann Hesse’s mystical novel, describing a traveller’s inner journey. Siddhartha Song “Red Gaia” became a finalist in the Eco Arts Awards 2013.
Album ‘7 Colours’ (2013) could be described as a singer songwriter album with orchestral arrangements. This music was about the young part within a person, pain and loneliness that needs healing. –  Courage and a torch are needed to enter this place and to lead the waiting children back onto the surface and back into sunlight.

Jose DeChamp on album ‘Siddhartha’ (2011).: “Human beings as part of a mesmerising Gaia System – some call it earth-system. Perhaps this has been largely forgotten in the West – Western culture disconnected for some time now. I am just as disconnected as most people around me. And just as helpless. But sometimes I can hear a faint calling so I keep on walking towards it.
Whilst writing album ‘Siddhartha’ Chief Raoni’s cry seemed to enter the music. – And voices of those who remember connectedness and the All-one.”
